(1) After the expiry of the period mentioned in the permit to operate the transport service, the owner or manager of the vehicle shall submit an application to the department in the form of Schedule-49 along with the fee as per Schedule-3 for the renewal of such permit.
(2) In relation to the application received for renewal under sub-rule (1), if the department considers it appropriate to renew the license to operate the transport service after conducting the necessary investigation, it will renew the license to operate the transport service subject to the Act and other provisions mentioned in this regulation.
(3) In accordance with sub-rule (2), the renewal of the permit to operate the transport service shall also be indicated in the transport service registered book as per Schedule-48.
